Just another canadian personal finance weblog. Auto saving for retirement. September 3, 2011. This week is Chapter 2 of I Will Teach You To Be Rich. And it’s all about bank account optimization. Not much for me to do on this front, as this is something I’ve been on top for for the last 5 years or so since I opened my PC Financial. No fee online bank accounts (savings checking). Just another canadian personal finance weblog. I’m always coming accross books that sound interesting, but at that particular time I’m reading something else and then I forget about it. And then when I need to find a book to read, I can never remember the titles of all those books I wanted to read. So I’m going to start keeping this list of books for my own reference. The Paradox of Choice. Responses to “Books”. Feed for this Entry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Just another canadian personal finance weblog. Some things in life are more important than paying off interest? August 21, 2011. Well the student loans are now finally paid off! Approximately $25K in 3 years. Next on my PF to-do list is to read I Will Teach You To Be Rich. I get the feeling not everything will apply from a Canadian perspective, but hopefully most of it will still be relevant. Responses to “Debt free! Feed for this Entry. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Fuel efficiency with a manual transmission | centsprout

Just another canadian personal finance weblog. Fuel efficiency with a manual transmission. December 5, 2007. I’ve always driven manual transmission cars, I even took my road test in one! Anyway, this past week-end I had to take a rental car on an out of town trip and apparently all rental cars are automatics these days. I guess it makes sense, since not everyone can drive a manual. The actual car will be cheaper (automatic transmissions are usually more expensive). What kind of cars do you guys drive?

Just another canadian personal finance weblog. February 3, 2012. I wanted to make a note of this quote I came across, because of my constant state of confusion on whether to focus on a career or side business. If you research how wealth is built the most common source is business with most of the remainder coming from real estate. My entire approach was re-worked on this napkin to present Cargo Metro…online. Due to a combination of things, Cargo Metro as a brick and mortar storefront started to become less and less realistic. With a few store closings. Laquo; Collecting Inspiration. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
