It’s the Final Countdown. November 28, 2016. It was, in all honesty, brutal – a semester of anxiety and frequent meltdowns, and the sinking, sickening conviction that I would fail – that I would flunk out of the University of Rhode Island, drop out of the University of Connecticut, get fired from my job, and find myself degree-less, jobless, penniless, and friendless (thanks to stress that frequently manifested as irritation at those around me). How I imagine you all feel reading this post right now.

Wandering in my mind

Wandering in my mind. Sunday, October 21, 2007. The deed is done. On Wednesday this past week, the feeding tube was installed. So no more fighting to choke liquids down. Just push them in with a huge syringe. Easy peasy. Four times a day. They even feel I might just gain a little weight back, which would be nice.
