I'm gonna write a short essay about something that's bugged me for a while re: my appearance - I'm really tired of men talking to me like I'm "little" and "cute" and that that's supposed to be okay. My least favorite c-word. I'm becoming a winter badass. Today I changed my license plate in 6 degree weather, with no gloves. The locals say I'm not a winter badass until I've done that in a tank top and flip-flops, but I think they might be crazy. The things you learn.

OKAY SO HERE'S THE DEAL. You know what's funny is that I barely know 90% of the people on my flist? That's fascinating to me. I love artsy-fartsy flavored girl beer from small breweries, I so do. So the long and short of it is this: I'm moving back in with my parents, until I get a job teaching somewhere. Also, getting my teaching degree. And Dad doesn't understand why I want to live in some other state. "Who says it's going to be any better? And now it is saying go. Anyway, life is full of choices!

DRINKIN' AND BAKIN'. I love being an adult. It occurs to me now that "bakin'" in connection with "drinkin'" could be taken in the wrong context, so rest assured, I am making banana bread. And not the other thing. Anyway, life is full of choices! And I am making some. These are choices independent from the bread baking and beer drinking, but the bread baking and beer drinking helps me work through which ones to choose. Here's to having hobbies (mine is baking). It's a joy to read things like that.

I had a nightmare so bad I woke up crying! I haven't done that in years! Don't worry, it's not due to any pressing current issues bearing down upon my soul, occasionally I just get me a bad dream! I'm going to see Vienna Teng in concert tomorrow. I seem to be making a habit of seeing her at least once a year, which is awesome. I've decided I want to move to Arizona! If the Why Not is heat, I like heat. Arizona's certainly got heat. Way more than I could stand. You should speak to my friend.
