From the Desktop of Andy J. Wotherspoon. The general ramblings of Andy. Monday, 26 January 2009. Well would you look at that I passed the 10,000 Gamerscore mark (10,010 to be precise). I didn't even know, I knew I was at 9,995 the other day but obviously got me some more achievements that pushed me over the edge, woop. Nothing much in the way of photoshopping or anything like that, haven't found any short, fun tutorials recently. Wednesday, 21 January 2009. I completed Gears of War 2 the other night.

So I was checking out Pitchfork Media today, which I, to be honest, read every day, and they reviewed a CD by a band from Brooklyn called The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. I wasn't expecting much, but after a second listen to the song "Everything With You," I was really just, totally captured. It's absolutely simple, beautiful, fleeting, happy pop music that is absolutely fucking irresistible! Or in Sixteen Candles. They're playing at the Black Cat.
