Sunday, March 7, 2010. An Earful of Reviews. Here are my latest feelings towards the most recent crop of the music industry. 3 One Life Stand- Hot Chip. This album was solid. The thing I like about Spoon is that they are very consistent with their music. Their style never strays. Still the same ol' gritty rock sound I fell in love with. 1 Of the Blue Colour of the Sky- Ok Go. Specifically struck me. It's such a solid indie rock anthem. This is so so so sick. An Earful of 2009. 2010 is upon is, and it seemed fitting to pay a little tribute to 2009's top 10 sickest albums [in my opinion of course, you're entitled to your own] starting with numero diez. They say nothing good lasts. This seemed true for long-time love of mine Arctic Monkeys. Their album was still good of course, but after two consecutive amazingggg albums, this was sort of a let-down. ALEX TURNER I STILL LOVE YOU! I'm gonna make you feel alright! Walking on a Dream.
