Loral built 2k4k CCDs for UH and others. Gerald Luppino at UH kindly supplied us two of the setup grade devices. We use them to check our electronics before we obtained science grade devices from other vendors. Detail characterization of the devices has not yet completed. FI or B.I. Installing the device in the dewar. Between CCD and clkamp. Drawing of the device carrier. The devices are used by the first generation of UH8k Mosaic camera. The description of the camera is here.
