She became passionate about Frontotemporal Dementia in 2003, when her husband, Bob, was diagnosed at the age of 47. MY NEW ADVENTURE ALZHEIMERS. I would like to share my Journey with you. I'm 67, diagnosed 5 years ago with alzheimers, or possibly FTD (frontotemporal dementia). Jim and I live on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Two of our sons live in Ontario, two in British Columbia, one in Nova Scotia, and we have thirteen grandchildren! Tuesday, May 24, 2011. We have now moved our two cats down to the summer trailer, so we are officially In Residence. And our flag is flying. Sort of makes me feel like the Queen!
