The Dilemma – Illuminate

https://twiggy.wordpress.com/2015/07/19/the-dilemma

A little look into the life of Cagey. July 19, 2015. There’s a bit of a dilemma. What I mean by that is, I have a venue… and yet I simultaneously don’t have a venue. I have a venue because the coordinator verbally agreed I have a venue, but I don’t have a venue because this has not been placed in a written and signed contract. No money has exchanged hands. And the thing is it’s making me all rather sick inside. that unless something changes soon, my dream venue is out by sheer neglect. Someone got marrie...

August 2015 – Illuminate

https://twiggy.wordpress.com/2015/08

A little look into the life of Cagey. August 23, 2015. I don’t have a ton of time, but I thought I’d give one last big update for a while. You see, next week is the start of my new life. Wait, what? There’s a lot I’ll suddenly have to get used to. All good things of course. Having a constant companion. Cuddling while watching a movie, without having to view over audio/webcam. Making my room now. We get a short few weeks to relax and settle in until the big day. My Dad doesn’t understand all the has...

Around the World in 180 Days. A journey across the Atlantic and into matrimony. TXT March 28, 2010. Filed under: daily life. 8212; rhet @ 12:13 pm. Brits are text crazy. I noticed this first when I moved here and all of the plans the hubby made with friends were via text. Obviously, Americans text a lot too. For example, one of my friends from high school sent enough messages to win $10,000 from AT&T in a texting contest. The hubby and I were even able to donate to the British charity S port Relief.

So with no more windows to put a box in, we scrounged around for anything to stick them in and came up with mason jars and teacups to a pretty lovely result if I do say so myself! It only took more than a dozen phone calls to the letting agency’s maintenance department. And we’ve finally acquired a toaster! That does look ...
