A couple weeks ago we took James to the little zoo here in Lodi.Kyncade and I have dreamed about taking our kids to the zoo someday, since both of us loved the zoo as kids (and have continued to be zoo fans as adults). Both of us totally wanted to be zoo keepers at one point in our lives. (Kyncade says he still would love to be one! Love that little face.

Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Blanchard Springs and the 4th. We have a tradition of going to Arkansas for the 4th of July. This year we decided to take a detour and visit the Blanchard Springs Caverns. Koen was looking forward to seeing the "underground caves" for weeks before we went. He was a little nervous about them once we got inside, but overall, he enjoyed it.
