Who has been experimenting with zentangles as well and has already combined them with her quilting, very cool. My first couple of Zentangles. Has some on her blog and there are also ones that you can find elsewhere online including YouTube.

http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. More Love and Irises. I am still behind but I finally got some time spent working on my May block. Since we are leaving tomorrow for a trip to Boston I will keep this note pretty short and will look at any symbolism in post with the finished block. The first photo show the background painting and the stitching getting started. The second photo shows the piece with the thread embroidery done and the piece ready for some beads. Links to this post. Life has ...

AKP Bead Journal Project: Following the Inspiration: Part 4
http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2010/01/following-inspiration-part-4.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Following the Inspiration: Part 4. Part 4: Quotes, going larger. I have always enjoyed quotes and have occasionally used them in pieces of art or inspiration for a piece of art. In Sandy Steen Bartholomew. 8217;s article in Cloth, Paper, Scissors. She used words and journalling with her zentangles. If I was going to include quotes then I would want a larger format to explore this more. So where do I start? Which quote do I choose? I also let the lyric...

AKP Bead Journal Project: January 2009
http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Friday, January 9, 2009. December: Foxes and Tulips. The fox is closely related to the creative process, if the focus stays on creative energies life's twists and turns can be accomplished with ease. Some foxes can actually run up trees and those with the fox totem can move in new directions and call upon new resources instinctively. Foxes are very monogamous and yet live alone about 5 months of the year (sound like a military spouse? Links to this post. Because these are the ...

AKP Bead Journal Project: October 2009
http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. There are times in our lives that we all want to build a nest. That place that is distinctly our own. My final block for my 2008-9 BJP is a nest. My magpie wanted to have her own nest so she got it. The idea for the nest came and went as the year went through but I finally went with the idea since it felt right. I will be putting a new post of my main blo. For the Bead Journal Project website. Registration runs through December 15th 2009. After being...

AKP Bead Journal Project: May 2009
http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. The Goddess in Us All. While in Iowa I also spent some time working on my background a bit. I have not put any time into that in a while so I was glad that I had the time to do so. I wanted the biggest impact for my time spent so I chose to work on the ivy that is climbing up the tree. I wrote about it's symbolism with my October block. Links to this post. Monday, May 25, 2009. It's all in the Details. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Her dress w...

http://angelaplagerbjp.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
AKP Bead Journal Project. Tuesday, March 31, 2009. The Power of Silence. All of the stitching and beading for this piece was done on one of our trips to Philadelphia. I have managed to accomplish a fair amount of beading on our trips there, between the drive up and down and the time here and there that I fit in I always seem to get a lot accomplished. I have recently changed my website up so if you would like to see all of the changes please visit Artistic Kreations and Passions. Links to this post.
