Monthly Archives: August 2015. August 12, 2015. The past few weeks have been a little mentally rough for me. The two weeks at work after camps were horrible. No horrible does not do those weeks justice. There is not an adjective that describes those first two weeks back. Last week and this week seem to be getting back to the normal level of crazy I experience at work. Now I will say before I continue, I had some very bright spots in those weeks. I had several dinners with great friends. I became to the p...

March 28, 2016. March 26, 2016. First let me say HAPPY EASTER! THE TOMB IS EMPTY! If you are reading this and do not know the amazing love and grace of the LIVING King, please send me a message as I would love to share the story. The beginning of this year has not gone exactly has I had planned. I planned to work on losing weight, more craft/scrapbooking/fun projects, be out more with my friends, etc. But it has been the opposite. I still have some issues I am working with due to weight (sleep is not alw...

Monthly Archives: February 2015. February 28, 2015. This week has been a good week! Weight last reported: 264.4. Total weight loss: 3.2. Slow but in the right direction. The focus this week is to get back to 100% committed to running every run each week. I have been slacking a little and allowing arthritis pain to dictate what I do. No more! Run Liz Run 🙂. Hoping today is the last snow day for this season! Remember to shine your light for you never know whose world you will brighten! February 25, 2015.

Newer posts →. July 25, 2015. This morning I walked in the Bedlam Run 5k! It was the most fun I have had in a race in a long time. I started walking with a friend but my back and hips realized they were working and rebelled pretty quick. So I slowed down and enjoyed the walk. I listened to music, talked to other walkers and enjoyed cheering on other runners/walkers. Did not make it to weight watchers due to the race so check back next Saturday for a weight update. Have a great weekend everyone! This was ...

What a three days! July 18, 2015. This past week was Tulsa District Camp at Camp Egan just outside of Tablequah. I LOVE Camp Egan! I started going to Egan when I was in third grade through the summer before my freshman year of college. I accepted Christ at Camp Egan in 6th grade. The top of the mountain at Egan is one of my favorite places on earth. On Thursday Night we had several campers share songs they had written in their song writing class that week. They were amazing! This year was a little differ...

Not “The End” →. Been too long friends. December 5, 2015. It has been too long since we have been together! Several of you have asked where my blog has been. I cannot tell you how much it means to me that you have asked…that you read the blog and cared enough to ask where it was when it was gone. SO…I have decided that I am going to move forward and leave the 35th project right here. I will write one more blog on Christmas Day/My birthday and then that will be it for this project. Remember to shine your ...

Life clutter →. How did I get so lucky? July 29, 2015. I am one lucky girl! I have some amazing friends! I’ve been reminded of this the last couple of weeks. Last week a friend who moved about 5 years ago came into town and I was able to have dinner with her and other mutual friends. We all picked up as if she had never moved. Tonight I had dinner with a current and a former coworker. We laughed and laughed as we talked about work and life. I hope they know this. I hope they know that I am here anyti...
