EVERYDAY BEAUTY - A.ROSEROOM
http://www.aroseroom.com/blog/everyday-beauty
The absolutely perfect moments are the unforeseen ones. On this beautiful, blissful day, my babies spent hours doing what they do best- being kids. There will be ample time to concern ourselves with test scores and college applications. But for now, I relish dirt rubbed into the knees of itty-bitty pants, pieces of crisp brown leaves caught in wisps of hair, and tiny stones and sticks falling from my toddler's pockets. MOMENTS, MUSINGS, MY WORLD. TAKE A LOOK AROUND, STAY AWHILE.

OUT WITH THE OLD. It's like the stars aligning- just as my family and I have found the place that feels like home, I have also found my home on the web. After many years, WordPress and I have parted ways, and there's no looking back. No offense to them, or the many who enjoy their services, but we just weren't meant for one another. I am happy to introduce the new and improved AROSEROOM.COM, I hope you like it. More will be added in the weeks to come, sit tight! Visit Angel Rose's profile on Pinterest.

10 LIFE LESSONS FROM MOM. 1 Be kind, you never know who's fighting a harder battle. I remember the first time mom shared this invaluable piece of advice with me. I was pretty young, and while we were out running errands one day, I became quite irritated by a stranger who seemed to be unnecessarily rude. And mom said-. Who knows what's going on in her life, or what she's dealing with. Just be patient. 2 Stop worrying. If something is meant to be, it will be. 3 Don't put off what you can do right now.

THE GROCERY STORE SAVES HALLOWEEN. I'd like to tell you that I grow all my own vegetables, feed my kids organic ingredients 100% of the time, and make all of my family's food from scratch. Turns out, we eat organically maybe 75% of the time, and I have a pretty brown thumb. And sometimes, I'm completely unprepared for Halloween. In a pinch (or even when you've had weeks to prepare. No judgement here! And there's no harm in little nibbles throughout the day. Have fun!

GLUTEN FREE FLOUR BLEND. And then suddenly, it all made sense! And, my own gluten-free flour blend was born. Oh, it's so worth it people. Because alone, these flours just don't cut it. But together, they work in beautiful harmony. I feel like this is sort of a personal thing- you really need to experiment with a few different flours to find the blend that suits your taste. But, I am happy to share mine- I think it's a good one. Cornmeal - 10 oz/half a bag. Brown Rice Flour - full 24 oz bag.

A LETTER TO MY DAUGHTER, ON HER FIRST BIRTHDAY. It wasn't too long ago I posted. A letter to my son, on his first birthday. Right before my blog went on hiatus. Shortly after, my daughter was born. Part of that break was in order to become accustomed to our new family of four, and to give the brand new little life in our home the attention she needed. And then I blinked, and a whole year passed swiftly before my eyes. And so now I share with you,. A letter to my daughter, on her first birthday.

Two weeks before my son was born, I was stalked at a Bed Bath and Beyond. It all began in the cleaning supply aisle. That day, I left the store with much more than my $50 worth of home goods. Part of me was scared- what if she was right? I'm not going to say what you. I'm going to say. What I'm going to say is, how sad. So if I can bring myself to be tolerant and open to advice from a stranger, how much more accepting should I be of guidance from family and friends who I know are coming from a place of n...
