Bibbie's news: April 2008
http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Screams in the night. Sometimes I like to sit on my bedroom door. It is narrow, and of course on hinges so it moves. Mum wedges it open with the big cage door shut hard against it, but it still wobbles. Last night I was sound asleep when – I fell off! I might give the door a miss for a while – it was almost time for me to choose a new resting place anyway – I tend to spend about a week in each of three or four places. Sunday, April 6, 2008. Friday, April 4, 2008. Outside my win...

Bibbie's news: March 2008
http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. The man came in to say hello yesterday and wondered what it was I was eating with gusto. It was something I like and demand when Mum or Peter have it. It is. egg on toast! Nice soft yolk, squishy toast, all together in my seed bowl. I grab it with my foot and eat away. About my favourite. I got a dish (with about a teaspoon in it! Of porridge-like polenta today. It had honey and soy milk on it,. I did not fancy it at all. Sunday, March 23, 2008. That's all for today folks. I could...

Bibbie's news: A good boy! ME!!
http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2009/01/good-boy-me.html
Saturday, January 17, 2009. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am Bibbie. :-). I am a cockatoo with beak and feather disease. But that isn't going to stop me enjoying myself. I DO NOT enjoy visiting the doctor, although it serves as an excellent stage for my bloodcurdling screeches. But, they've helped me a lot - and a bird like me needs all the help they can get. So, thank you to everyone at Heathmont Animal Hospital. But I hope I don't see you soon. Sad news in the heat. Dog Angela and garden.

Bibbie's news: January 2010
http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. Dog Barnaby arrived 19 days later, fresh from the RSPCA dog home - about 18 months old and he came without a thing, not even a name. He is 8kg, white with coffee and greyish patches here and there, a Maltese Shih-tzu cross. A dear little fellow but as yet we do not know what each other is thinking as did Angela and I. So - this blog will probably not be updated. sorry it was so long between posts at the end. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am Bibbie. :-). Two Pis and a Poi.

http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2009/02/thank-you-joonie-and-all-others-for.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. Thank you Joonie and all others for your concern. The weather is indeed dreadful, top temperature for all over state since records kept starting 1850s. fires all over, some only ten fifteen minutes drive from me - Healesville, Chum Creek (Mum and family used to live there) Toolangi, Yarra Glen, King Lake a bit further up (north). Power cuts have not so far affected here which is an answer to prayer. Joonie the Too said. I also did the Google Maps thing and then clicked on the St...

Bibbie's news: May 2008
http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Angela seems to treat it like a puppy. Life is pretty boring most days now! Oh I was happy to see them! In case you can't see them, there are two black cockatoos in this photo - they have yellow crests and yellow under their wings. They are probably bigger than me (even if I had my feathers) and make a harsh sort of call. They blend well into the trees, don't they? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am Bibbie. :-). Bibbie's news: February 2008
http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 9, 2008. I have not written for a while – life has been pretty boring apart from another beak trim – but now I will update you with some exciting news. I have a friend! Then yesterday, he came in through the cat flap! This morning, early, Mum came through and saw a baby blackbird on the back veranda eyeing off the cat flap hole. She hastily pulled the curtains across so he could not come in again. I am sad! I hope she is going to be alright – it is in a nasty place the vet said &...

http://bibbiebird.blogspot.com/2009/01/see-my-sexy-leg-apple-peel-i-am-eating.html
Saturday, January 17, 2009. See my sexy leg! The apple peel I am eating is from an apple from the tree in our back yard and has not had anything sprayed on it. Yum! Don't you think I have more feathers? I like a kiss and cuddle from Mum. and guess what? I trust her, so figure that black box thing she points at me sometimes will not hurt me. I remember I used to be scared of it. Handsome me. I feel like a judge sometimes - and wise, like an owl. You have lots more feathers! January 17, 2009 at 11:49 AM.
