Yet another medium to brag about our beautiful children. Friday, October 9, 2009. Evan is finally asleep. I tried letting him "cry it out" again. This only produced a very upset little boy. (I'm now convinced this DOES NOT work for certain. I set myself up for this. In the back of my mind I promised myself sleep when Evan reached 16 months. That's when Ryan started sleeping through the night (more often then not). That's when Ryan weaned himself. So here I am wondering how long this will last?

My boys LOVED having a big fenced yard with lots of grass to run on. Without that they get a little stir crazy! My boys loved walking to the park across the street from our house. The goal for this month:. Blessings and giving thanks! Today the whole family gave thanks for "falling back"! We appreciated the "feeling" of having extra time this morning. Everybody came home from church today and indulged in the Sunday nap. I woke up on my OWN! There is NOTHING like a 3 hour uninterrupted. I'm a new woman.

They play with the kiddos .and I get to SLEEP! I don't have to worry about anything when they come. Grandma does the cooking, cleaning, and diapers! He sees her he screams "NANA". He just thinks about Nana all the time! My boys are such mommas boys. When Nana comes to town all that changes. Never Pay Retail Again.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009. The Last Day of School Ice Cream Extravaganza! We started a tradition last year on the last day of school. We call it our "Last Day of School Ice Cream Extravaganza! The deal is that on the last day of school when the kids get home.usually before lunch time.we eat lunch and then go to a restaurant. They are allowed to order any treat on the menu. It usually is a hard decision and they are so overwhelmed by the choices. Kiley got an Oreo Milkshake and loved every minute of it!

The weather this week has been amazing. We've enjoyed lots of swimming at the pool. Wednesday night Cole hosted a fun scout party at the pool and Thursday night we attended a family swim party for Liv's Gymnastics. The boys also started golf lessons this week. I wasn't sure what they would think, but they actually really liked it. Cole asked if he could go buy a special "golf outfit". So far this week. Ethan made it back from camp safe and sound. Cole and Ethan also had orthodontist appointments this week.

Shawn and I took the kids tubing Friday after school. It was our first time doing this as a family and we had a blast. I signed the kids up for ski lessons. Today was the first day.
