A love of painting. My name is Angie Wood and I live on. A narrowboat called 'Perros' in Oxfordshire, U.K. with my partner Dale and a 13 year old shih tzu called Molly. I've loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, so it was a natural choice for me to study art at college. Ideas for photographing your pet. As I work from photographs, the quality of the photograph is crucially important to the success of the portrait. Here are a few tips on taking a photo of your pet which will produce a good result:. Try to take the photograph in natural daylight if possible, a bright but overcast day is best, strong sunlight is not advisable as dark shadows can result which obliterate detail. Also please don't use a flash, natural light is always best. If you want your pet to be portrayed...

Tuesday, 3 February 2015. At last I've covered the whole canvas – but there's still a whole lot of refining to do! I'm really pleased with the way this one has come out – which is rare for me. Because I only had an old print of Mitch the springer, I had to paint him loosely - so the whole painting has to be loose – something I'm always trying to achieve. Tuesday, 16 September 2014. I recently went on a trip to Lyme Regis, where we sat in a pub garden and had lunch. Thursday, 28 August 2014. I'm still keeping my hand in with animal portraits, always learning new techniques and continuing to develop a distinctive style. With this one I added a background from another photograph and used a very detailed approach on his head, almost painting every fur! So some of them are on the 2013 list as well, in addition to some new resolutions. But let's review. 1 Lose the baby weight. Dewars is not usually open to the public, however we got an opportunity to go on a private tour. The Dewar facility primarily helps gorillas with special needs and educates the public on gorillas.
