The Rusty Bucket Christian Resource Centre began with a couple perceiving a community need and having an idea as to how they could (or should) contribute towards that need. The need and the idea were shared with God and numerous friends. The idea itself was simple - to open a Community Coffee shop. It would offer an inclusive non-judgemental environment to all.

The local foodbank is having difficulty filling the boxes for needy people in our area. Particular shortages are jam, Long life Fruit, Meat (tinned) Fish ( tinned ). The Looe Chistian aid Committee is looking for new recruit new. Would any one who is interested please speak to John Trethewey. Never the subject you may want to think about. More of that in my next months report.

St Catherine's Anglican Church - Edson. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. It was decided at a joint council and vestry meeting that all Sunday morning worship services, both at Grace and St. Catherine's will now begin at 10am. There are to be two joint services per month. On the second Sunday of the month, those from Grace will come to St. Catherine's to worship. On the fourth Sunday of the month, we will join with our Lutheran friends and worship at Grace. This is a walk of approx. 11 kilometres and runs through lovely countryside and along the towpath of the Kiel Canal, ending up at the "Hacienda" for what has now become a legendary cake and coffee break before returning to Burg station for the journey home.
