What are the ADVANTAGES of neutering your pet? Normally done at 6 months of age, we are doing the numerous puppy spay/neuters at 2 months - before rehoming. Pets are less inclined to roam or fight. This will result in fewer dog bites and animal-related traffic accidents in the islands. They become more protective of the house and vigilant of their surroundings. Neutering can make your pet more affectionate and more protective of you. Neutering can be done as early as six months of age.

Susie is SGAK's resident ANIMAL CARE GIVER and VET ASSISTANT. She lives full time at our shelter, feeding, medicating, and treating our. Animal patients. As full time staff, Susie organizes and participates in. Our clinics, orders medical supplies and communicates with the local. Residents on Union and Mayreau regarding animal care. Many times animals such as puppies and kittens, injured and abandoned, are dropped off. Or just left at our shelter. They are cared for and re-homed, where possible,.

Cat in a Hat! Rescued from the Garbage. A local resident found 2 kittens in a garbage bag in the dump. They were almost dead but after being brought to SGAK and treated, they are healthy now. Food, Financial and Hats! Next, SGAK received a pallet of dry dog and cat food from the Walkers. This will feed our hungry critters for months to come.
