Ed and Patti Zink. Ed had a vision to restore the hay fields on the ranch where he grow up into a wetlands. Patti supported the vision and off they went. Working to restore more than 40 acres of wetlands. The paperwork started in 2006, the field work in 2009. Jud was the first full time employee for Animas River Wetlands. He is the ranch forman and he make the equipment work which is not an easy task. Jud also transplants trees, haul dirt and is heart of the operation. She also prepares lunch for the crew.
