The tail of the Rubble: Basquiat Exposition / Hotel d'amour
http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010/11/basquiat-exposition-hotel-damour.html
The tail of the Rubble. Friday, November 12, 2010. Basquiat Exposition / Hotel d'amour. Basquiat exhibition at Musee d'art Moderne. I often lose motivation to go see a big exhibition or museums because of the waiting involved in getting in. But this was worth the wait. Internet tickets are very wise to get prior to getting there, though we didn't do that and ended up waiting for about 45mins. 11 Avenue du President Wilson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The tail of the Rubble: Chateau de Versailles
http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010/11/chateau-de-versailles.html
The tail of the Rubble. Friday, November 12, 2010. After 11 months of living in Paris, I experienced Versailles for the first time. On the perfect day of rain and strong wind. Some may call that a "storm" But the good thing is that no queque to get in. I heard from others that some days, you'll be waiting in line for 2 hours. I really wanted to see the Takashi Murakami exhibition. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Jacinta's Photos on Flickr. Le Comptoir de Relais.

http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The tail of the Rubble. Friday, September 10, 2010. I must say, I'm not a big fan of massive festival these days. But boy, it was jolly. Beirut. Was an epic. who'd thought horns can sound so sexy. ridiculous amount of people, yes. but, they'were quite pleasant. And, Roxy Music. It got a little too sexy and slow for a while but then they came back for an encore with the hits. With the come back tour of and 80's band, you gotta do that do please the audience. I certainly loved it. Le Grenier à pain.

The tail of the Rubble: Stockholm
http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010/11/stockholm.html
The tail of the Rubble. Friday, November 12, 2010. What an amazing beautiful city! Full of goodness. Good design, fashion, architecture and cafes. It's been a while since I had a good Cafe latte that I could actually taste the coffee. not a glass of milk with a dash of coffee. My friend took me to this cafe Jin and Peeters. Newly opened by a Japanese wife and a Belgian husband. They have a unique menu of dumplings, Belgian waffles and roast chicken. Weird but good. So good. Jacinta's Photos on Flickr.

The tail of the Rubble: Vin chaud and shopping in Winter Paris
http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010/12/vin-chaud-and-shopping-in-winter-paris.html
The tail of the Rubble. Thursday, December 9, 2010. Vin chaud and shopping in Winter Paris. What good is it if you can't shop in Paris. The Winter set in, and I need to get some Paris shopping out of my system before I go back home. I was lucky enough to find out about A.P.C. Broderie (basically a warehouse sale) through my good friend. It was like heaven. Items were 95% off. A handbag, boots, necklace and a pair of sunnies later, I felt like a new woman. My Stockholm treasure is this ACNE.

The tail of the Rubble: Le Comptoir de Relais
http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010/11/le-comptoir-de-relais.html
The tail of the Rubble. Friday, November 12, 2010. Le Comptoir de Relais. It's one of the restaurants of Yves Camdeborde, a French chef, also one of the judges in French Master chef. It was a very sophisticated Parisian experience. It opens at 12pm for lunch. There was a queque before it opened and while we were eating, it got bigger and bigger. Luckly we were second in line so that we can pick the table we wanted. For dessert, we had a cheesecake with berry ice cream a. Le Comptoir de relais.

The tail of the Rubble: August 2010
http://thetailoftherubble.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
The tail of the Rubble. Saturday, August 7, 2010. I miss the beach in summer. Unfortunately, Paris doesn't have beaches. so i decided to take a trip out to Bloemendaal aa zee (beach in North Holland) from Amsterdam. It's only 30mins total from Amsterdam but it's a completely different scene. The sand was so soft and fine, no gravel. Luckly, the sun was out and it was a perfect beach day. Not hold enough to get into the water though. Friday, August 6, 2010. Apple pie and Coffee. Right next this market is ...

The tail of the Rubble. Monday, June 21, 2010. Sunday, June 6, 2010. Air/Jarvis, Villette Sonique. Oh what a wonderful weekend I had with friends and good music. I bought a ticket to Air/Jarvis show a long time ago that I nearly forgot about it. Lucky I didn't cos it was just great. Jarvis is as amazing as 2 years ago in Sydney. Mainly Jarvis solo stuff with Air but then they even did a touch of Pulp and Air. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Jacinta's Photos on Flickr.
