Alex L Johnson: February 2012
http://alexljohnson.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Valentine's Day sparkling grape juice- he LOVED it! We are woefully behind on providing updates on Alex. The biggest thing – and most exciting – is that he is now rocking Big Boy Training Pants! He is still fairly inconsistent with his interest level, but he does not like feeling himself wet. He stands there with a stricken look on his face and says, “Mom! How sweet, right? We are probably going to meet up with them in the next few weeks for a play date. He has recently beco...

Alex L Johnson: November 2011
http://alexljohnson.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 10, 2011. Some Changes with Alex. Alex is talking more and more now. He is doing fabulous with identifying objects and thinks playing with flash cards is great fun. He also chortles with excitement when we are playing with blocks. He builds a tall stack which he calls a castle, giggles in anticipation, and then knocks it over with flair. Brent can’t decide if Alex is chortling because he wants to… or because Mommy likes it. Alex is definitely into crying now. It is always brief and...

Tuesday, May 21, 2013. The Johnson Kids in May 2013. Alex, age 3. Will turn 4 on July 23rd. Anna, age 11 months. Will turn 1 on June 11th. Ashley, age 6. Just turned 6 in March. Jack, age 2. Will turn 3 on July 24th. I didn't include Jessi with the "Johnson Kids" because she is no longer a kid, she is a full-fledged, thriving teenager that all the younger kids idolize! Alex L Johnson: July 2012
http://alexljohnson.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. Some big events since we wrote last. First and foremost, Alex is now a big brother! His sister Anna was born on June 11 and Alex is madly in love with her. As you can see from the pictures, he loves spending time with her and is a great helper. It seems like he wants her to play with him already! If she is crying, he goes to comfort her by turning on her swing, giving her a pacifier, or rubbing her head and saying, "It's okay baby.". We all loved having her here.

Alex L Johnson: Alex now-a-days
http://alexljohnson.blogspot.com/2015/07/alex-now-days.html
Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Alex is growing strong. He’s lean and desperately ready to be 6 years old. He is completely obsessed with his upcoming birthday later this month and party. We are going to have a bunch of kids over for a Slip N Slide party! Cake, pizza, and fun! We invited several kids from his class at SEA and are hoping they will be able to make it. Alex refers to his age and/or birthday party practically daily. He finished kindergarten the beginning of this month and jumped into First Grade!

Alex L Johnson: March 2014
http://alexljohnson.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 21, 2014. Now in Spanish Mommy! Says Alex as we count. Looks like we are going to have a bilingual kid on our hands in a few years! Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion ranks 8 out of 10. Forest Elementary ranks 4 out of 10. We have some reservations about this decision – is Spanish practical to learn; is it marketable? Will he retain the information? Will he have an interest/aptitude for Spanish? Will we be able to help him with homework? Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Tuesday, March 11, 2014.

Wednesday, May 28, 2014. First things first, Alex will no longer be attending Spanish Immersion school in the fall. We were lucky enough to be extended an invitation for SEA (School of Engineering and Arts). This was our first choice all along and after attending a Kindergarten welcome night and Spring Fling celebration… we are more than thrilled for this chapter in his life to start! She said he is also popular with the girls. They think he is cute and sweet. Brent saw a little girl just yesterd...8221;...

http://alexljohnson.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 13, 2012. We had a great Easter. Saturday night we decorated eggs. The one above didn't make it to the dying session. so Alex had a great time covering it with stickers! He really loved seeing the eggs change color and took the process very seriously. and had a blast! Alex was woken up by mom and dad saying the Easter Bunny came and left eggs in his living room! He was so excited! Here is a video of Alex's hunt at home. it is about 5 minutes long but the entire hunt lasted about 12!
