In preparing for this 1,001 day journey, I thought it might be a good idea to hit the ground running with a little therapy. I’ve never been to a therapist, but I’ve been told, by many, I need to be in therapy. Jerks. This awareness conjures up all kinds of thoughts, like should I buy a house? Will I ever get married? Do I want children? Is Philadelphia the place for me? And on…and on and on. This summer was my first chance to plant a garden in my very own backyard. I picked a 3 foot by 10 foot plot and fit in lettuce, basil, parsley, cilantro, rosemary, 1 peanut plant, 5 pepper plants, and 6 tomato plants. I also potted more basil, strawberries, and chives. Here I chronicle the struggles, blessings, and daily life of our family. Thursday, August 13, 2015. I've been feeling a lack of motivation, even before the beginning of this school year. Usually this feeling doesn't hit me until February. I've been saying things like, "I can just run down to [local Catholic school] and register her." to my husband. Oh, and I'm the president of my local homeschool group this year. *sends all kids to school - has tons of time to be a great president* ��.
