They played in a tournament there (actually in northern Mississippi, just south of Memphis) but didn't do so well. It was good experience though. Here is B2 at the plate when she is beginning her run to 1st base. Here she is pitching. Here she is in church giving her speech. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Walt Disney World 2011. A hund...

Small Town Mom, Wife, Teacher. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. It Was A Rough Job! Once again this year, Bruce and I were asked to be judges in our local BBQ contest called Jakey in June. This year, we judged on Saturday night in the Kids Q Competition, the "Anything But" (where the teams submit any meat dish. Those judged on Sunday), desserts, and margaritas. I once again had the honor of judging the winning Kids Q hamburger and again this year, it was amazing! I judged this.it had a peanut butter flavor.

When I do know, I'll be sure to share the news! Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Barbecued Tofu and Grilled Corn Salad. I'm ready - are you? Which hone...

The Sunday Cook: After Dinner Thoughts
http://thesundaycook.blogspot.com/2011/05/after-dinner-thoughts.html
Sunday, May 15, 2011. You definitely have to make that again, soon," said Mom about tonight's dinner. It was easy, quick, and yummy! I also made Green Bean Medley. And, finally, I had cut up a pineapple and some strawberries earlier in the day. I added some fresh blackberries and dinner was complete! I know I've discussed the pineapple wedger from Pampered Chef. 1 angel food cake, torn into bite size pieces. 1 can crushed pineapple. 2 pints frozen strawberries, thawed. 2 medium bananas, sliced. That's it...

The Sunday Cook: September 2011
http://thesundaycook.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 25, 2011. Potatoes, Mushrooms, and Eggs. Tonight's dinner was terrific! The inspiration recipe came from the book Vegetarian Suppers from Deborah Madison's Kitchen. On page 120 is a recipe for eggs baked on a bed of sauteed mushrooms and croutons. I changed it up a bit. I wanted to use a couple of baked potatoes we had in the refrigerator instead of croutons. Here is the recipe as adapted by me:. 2 baked potatoes, cut into small cubes. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/3 cup finely diced onion.
