The Life of the Smiths
http://katieandtrey.blogspot.com/2013/11/i-love-that-they-love-each-other.html
Sunday, November 3, 2013. I love that they love each other. Went to check on them one last time and found them snuggled up together. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a stay-at-home mom to three girls. Hailey is 9, Reese is 6 and Landry is 4. In my "spare" time I enjoy hanging out with my hubby, chasing after our golden retriever, Tucker, running, being outdoors, reading and blogging. View my complete profile. I Heard The Door Slam. The Shobe Family: March 2015
http://theshobes.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Two weekends ago we went to Houston. It was great to see Scott's parents and meet their new dog, Jet. Saturday morning we went to Top Golf so Mary could see the kids hit. It was a really fun place. Saturday evening we went to a horse show since Molly has been getting into horses. It was fun! Molly had her picture taken with the Catalina Cowgirls before the show. The best picture I could get from him. It had rained and was a mess out, so Grandma brought them rainboots. Scott is fr...

Saturday, March 30, 2013. Man driving Texas highways with loyal dog by his side. Seems so manly.until we remember we are in a minivan. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Be Still, My Beating Heart. They are growing so quickly. I never could imagine how much I would love them or how blessed I would feel to have three precious daughters. Thank you God for sending your Son. I enjoy reading Puritan prayers and this one seems so appropriate and much more eloquent than my writing, so I want to share. Can y...

The Life of the Smiths: July 2012
http://katieandtrey.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. Oh my goodness.what a whirlwind of a two weeks. Hailey and I came home yesterday to this sign. Camp Ozark is the place where Trey and I met, fell in love, and got engaged. We also made many special friendships there that have lasted through the years. When we think of our favorite places on earth.Ozark is towards the top. Visiting there is good for my soul. It is a place where I am able to gain perspective on life. Some of her new friends! Her other favorite place at camp.the r...

The Shobe Family: Dillon and Keystone, CO
http://theshobes.blogspot.com/2015/08/dillon-and-keystone-co.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Dillon and Keystone, CO. We stayed with Scott's sister, Stacey on Wed, and Thurs. nights. Right behind their house is a national forest. It's amazing. We hiked Thursday morning and the kids loved it. We found fresh strawberries on the hike and also a little stream to play in. This is right off their back porch. This water was cold! We finished the evening by watching Frozen. Stacey had never seen it before! Both kids ended up falling asleep and Bentley cuddle up with them.

One blessing after another...: August 2013
http://bgbarrick.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Happy Birthday to Me. This year’s birthday included some Mommy/Daughter pampering and a yummy dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. Snuggles from my gremlins. Happy 34th to me and thank you thank you to the hubs and kiddos! Friday, August 16, 2013. Gracie’s New Haircut. I apparently over estimated the skill level of the stylists at Great Clips, but Gracie still came home with a pretty cute bob. The most important thing was she was loving it! Monday, August 5, 2013. We didn...

The Life of the Smiths: December 2012
http://katieandtrey.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. We are at the library. My girls love it here. So much so, that Reese kissed and told each of her library books goodbye before sending them down the return chute! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Monday, December 10, 2012. We have one pumped up Landry here. She always wants to be like her sisters. Her sisters ride in booster seats in the car. She is still three and needs a 5 point harness (aka a bigger one! She will always be my baby. No doubt. Today was the first really c...

One blessing after another...: Independence Day!!!
http://bgbarrick.blogspot.com/2014/07/independence-day.html
Friday, July 4, 2014. We had a fun, active, exciting and exhausting Fourth of July today! The first thing on our agenda was the neighborhood celebration. Our ‘hood sponsors a kids’ bike parade followed by play time and lunch at the park/pool/common area. This year, I had my act together and we got to the parade on time, because I learned last year that if you arrive after the parade is over, then you don’t get to be in the parade. Ridiculous, I know. We even showed up with decorated bikes! Before you cal...

One blessing after another...: April 2014
http://bgbarrick.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 20, 2014. We had a great day celebrating Jesus and family and friends. The kids were very excited to dig through their baskets when their eyes popped open. By some miracle, we were dressed for the 8:30 service with time to spare for pictures. I made Gracie’s dress (completely last minute – didn’t start it until Friday – which officially makes me a crazy person) and I LOVE it! She looked so precious. I can take pictures of that sweet girl ALL. DAY. LONG. Happy Happy Easter from the Barricks!

One blessing after another...: January 2014
http://bgbarrick.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 20, 2014. We were supposed to have our Barrick holiday celebration over Thanksgiving, but because of Brad being so sick, we rescheduled for January. Consequently, Barrick Family Thanksgiving became Barrick Family Après-Christmas. It was tons of fun because we were able to exchange our gifts in person and the kids had a grand time trying out new toys and roaming around Grammy and Grandad’s together. He was a natural. :). By this time, Noah and Emmeline were DONE. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
