November 27, 2011. Lexie wrote her name for the first time. Julia got another cheer trophy :). Aiden showed signs of where he's been. Lexie decided to turn herself into a cat with a Sharpie! Julia had her first choir concert at Lansing Elementary! I found Aiden like this one day at 5pm while I was cooking dinner! Picture day at school for Wally! December 30, 2011. The Auffenberg's Visit Kansas. Mom, Dad, and Kayla flew in the day after Christmas! We've been having such a good time showing them around places we've come to love here in Kansas City! The cousins at the airport! Here we are when we visited Union Station and Crown Center. I love this picture of my sweet boy when we visited Legends (outdoor shopping mall). With both of my sweet boys :). Bubby, Julia, and Kayla walking around Lawrence, Kansas. November 8, 2012. We are so proud of her! She seems to be fitting in well, lots of friends, and is getting good grades. She is learning to play the clarinet and in January will join the Elementary School Band. She also just finished her fifth year of cheerleading. Aiden's learning to read, and we're very proud of how well he's doing. Academically, he's a little below grade level. And then there were two. Friday, July 15, 2011. How to Celebrate the 4th. To start things off, we went to the church for a 4th of July pancake breakfast (yum! Afterward, there was a bike parade, where all the kids got to decorate their bikes themselves and then rode them around (and around, and around, and around) the parking lot for everyone to see. This guy would have kept going all day if we'd let him. The last picture of our family of three. Played in the sprinkler in the backyard. A great work of art.

Cadence brought home a flyer from school telling us about GoNoodle, a website they use in their classroom to get some activity going on days they may not be able to do so otherwise (for example, those rainy days that are so plentiful in Houston).
