Strictly for my friends: May 2006
http://strictlyformyfriends.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Strictly for my friends. Monday, May 29, 2006. I have written a post on one of the most amazing books I have read in recent times here. Tehmina Durrani's My Feudal Lord created a huge controversy when it was published actually forcing her to flee Pakistan and take refuge in England. I am hugely impressed with the book. Do check it out. I would love to hear your comments. Posted by Strictly for my friends at 6:05 PM. A lot of my friends are. They go to work even over the weekends! Sunday, sweet Sunday,.

8230;and God said let there be light. P The 28th of August, 1991 marked the day when God probably said, “Let there be light! So there you a lot of reasons to remember this day, so the next time, any LuminaR reader not wishing me would have his/her IP blocked! I do have a database of the all the visitors on my blog, and I do note down the static IPs of the visitors close to me.) Anyway, my 16th Birthday was a nice day to live, so here is an account of it. PS: I have no illustrations for this post! Anshuma...

A dollop of ice-cream....: Of decisions
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2005/07/of-decisions.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Monday, July 25, 2005. I like writing for the simple fact that I can ramble on without beginning or end.start somewhere and end somewhere completely different. And the greatest pleasure it gives me is the thought that someday I most probably will revisit and laugh at these memories or essays or blog-bits or whatever you can call them. Now, that I am at home the most common question people usually ask me is "what do you do all day? But now she goes to give herself to somebody. My go...

A dollop of ice-cream....: Random day nostalgia
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011/10/random-day-nostalgia.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. A fool's journey - but that's what I have been doing all my life. I left my school when I was in class V and then went back after a month. I left the org in my company I had the most fun working in and came back after one and a half years. Now maybe it is time to return to my country after 7 years. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have landed .on Seattle moon :). Is this what or why. Me myself and myself - one liners. You've got mail .again. I like...

http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011/05/little-piece-of-heaven.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Saturday, May 07, 2011. A little piece of heaven. Mood meter on the high today - so you can expect a little out of the blue cheerful post from me maybe . or maybe not :). Joy and I went off on one of our random weekend impulses today - Seattle weather wasn't supposed to cooperate but Aladdin's. For the last few days, I have been trying to retrospect and I have been finding it harder than what I thought - more so because it seems in the last year I have put layer over layer over lay...

A dollop of ice-cream....: A Tribute
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011/05/tribute.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Friday, May 20, 2011. As a little girl I always dreamed of making a stage appearance - bowing in front of thunderous applause and shining in the limelight. (no, don't call me attention crazy yet :P). Anyway so I think I always mentally have had this speech ready and whether you like it or not - you get to be my practice audience. :P. Wish you many many happy returns of the day and have a wonderful year ahead. :). May 21, 2011. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Is this what or why. I like wr...

A dollop of ice-cream....: April 2011
http://21writersblock.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A dollop of ice-cream. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Sometime ago I had this vision of shattering glass - all I saw (yes, with my eyes open :) was glass shattering all around me. Needless to say that scared my husband and mom quite a bit. :) I felt I was going off my rocker too but I guess that has to wait. I can't believe I am saying that. I don't believe each and every smiling face is not hiding a level of frustration underneath - peers, managers, deadlines, compromises, coding but then again not coding.
