I handed in my research project today, and sent the coordinator a link to. Fair to say the memory of PCAS will be with me for a while yet though. Then we split into pairs and worked our way through sections of the colony to record the sex and tag number/colour for every individual in our section. It’s not a particularly difficult task, although quite often the seals lie in awkward positions so you can’t always pick the boys from the girls.
