Dream Travel. Explore. August 14, 2015. It took us an hour to get out of nearby towns onto the main highway. I learned one thing–if you learn to drive in Bombay, you can drive anywhere in the world. We found a local restaurant with homemade Mauritian food called Saveur troical (Tropical flavor) and it was the first authentic Mauritian food I had I ordered the prawns curry with rice with salad on the side, while stealing a quick bite of mom’s fresh fish wrapped in banana leaves in a zesty creole sauce. The prices were decent and the service was excellent. The waterfall at Chamarel. Seven Colors of the earth.

Dream Travel. Explore. July 18, 2015. Five Perfect Days in Mauritius (Day 5). The multiple narrow strees showcased a plethora of indoor and outdoor shops and stalls in the market. Most of the shops usually varied from fruit and vegetable markets to local spice shops to special Mauritian-made artisan shops. After lunch, my uncle drove me to buy kulfi, a creamy milky homemade Indian ice-cream in popsicle form. I can eat 10 of these everyday–they’re that good! More on Bombay here. What do you think?
