The day that would signal my transition into an effective and successful ministry. Right? I boarded the plane in Paris. I flew over Eastern Europe. I transferred in Istanbul, crossed northern Africa, and landed in the inky darkness in Central Africa. But just like every other day in my life, October 21. And then it was October 22.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. Some of the funniest parts of my life happen on Sundays. The Kindergarten and 1st grade Sunday School class at our church is mine to teach every other weekend when I'm not working. At another point in the morning, one of the other girls was telling me that she is going to be dressed up as Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin for the fall harvest festival tomorrow night. No . . . not really transforms . . . but perhaps simply makes the person they truly are on the inside somehow explode into living color! I've been watching this lately in a friend and without knowing it, his love for his sweet girl has taught my heart again of the love God has for me. Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers . . .".
