Kids, knitting, nursing and my life. Tuesday, January 4, 2011. What a crazy 2 days at work! I worked in our triage room on Sunday and was crazy busy. A storm front was moving through and that always brings women in with ruptured membranes or just plain in labor. I saw 15 patients that day and admitted all of them. Every. Single. One. All of them were legitimate admits too. Maybe I'll win tonight's lottery and I can buy all the yarn I want! When I have kids going off to college. Any ideas? 4 Finish my UFO...

Kids, knitting, nursing and my life. Monday, May 12, 2014. So sorry that I haven't posted anything for a few days. It's been crazy busy and we are all working like crazy around here. He is just one of the people we helped here. Randy lost his right leg after being hit by a bus 6 months ago. Well guess what? He got a new leg! Our prosthetics team is pretty awesome. They bring in tons of equipment and work like crazy to fit people who need artificial limbs. We got him ready to go and started the fitting.

What began as a blog about marathons and turned into just a marathon blog. Thursday, August 20, 2015. Disney - Day 3. Phew So Thursday was huge. Exhausting. Sweaty. Fun. Friday we slept in. We bathed the girls. And then we hit up that morning's activities at the resort - Christmas in July and MERMAID ACADEMY. :). They left gifts for us every day. When we got home from the Magic Kingdom the day before, the Santa hats were among the things waiting for us. Ice cream for breakfast! Tuesday, August 18, 2015.

For Violet's birthday, we rented a bounce house, prayed for good weather, and sent out about 40 invitations to friends and family. We got super lucky and had a gorgeous day and about 55 people here! She was the very first kid to play and didn't hesitate a second. She marched right up there, played loud and strong and we couldn't have been more proud! It was a fairly long recital. What began as a blog about marathons and turned into just a marathon blog. Sunday, November 30, 2014. We did a low-key Thanksgiving.dinner from the local market and my parents. It was awesome. No stress, good food, and lots of fun with my girls. I was VERY ready to get back to school and schedule, though. Actually, I was ready for that by Friday. But it was a nice break, regardless. :).
