Maandag 4 april 2011. Due to weather conditions, work stalled on my projects the last couple of weeks. Sounds like an excuse, I know. Fact is, that I don't have a heating in my shed, so it is impossible to paint (too cold) or work in the shed for a longer period of time (again: too cold). But I managed to strip the frame of the XS and remove all the unnecessary tabs and mounts. During the process of grinding and cutting, I made some friends in the neighborhood (not really). Zaterdag 8 januari 2011. Bike / hotrod show. This Zero shows its roots (Shinya). Very dark car in a very dark corner of the show. This guy drove his car from Belgium (this explains the mud on the doors). Zaterdag 1 januari 2011. New tyres for the XS 500. Well, now I see them on the rims, I wonder "What was I thinking! I also think that the dutch license plates are too big, but that's another story. Vrijdag 10 juni 2011. I bought some parts on the internet ("Oh no! I also started on a tank of a XS-750. This is the tank after I stripped the old paint and painted it with primer. Some Raydyot lamps. Don't know if I can use them for the XS-500, but I like them anyway. The previous owner of the tank has done a bad paintjob on it, so I started stripping it. Zaterdag 4 juni 2011.
