Molts rierols creuats al llarg d'un fabulós viatge a Nova Zelanda. Dimecres, d’agost 22, 2007. La primera meitat del dia la dediquem a acabar la ruta pels Catlins. Però fa un dia més aviat lleig i les platges no llueixen pas massa. L'últim punt que veiem és el Nugget Point, un conjunt de roques ben curioses, enmig del mar. No ens cansaríem de veure'ls! Enfilem el camí cap al Milford Sound. Ja és tard, així que avui farem nit per aquí en un descampat que hi ha a la vora d'un refugi, on es pot sopar, descansar en una àmplia sala amb sofàs, revistes i llibres de tot tipus, piano i internet a dos euros l'hora. El passeig pel parc Abel Tasman comença en un Aquataxi: una llanxa que va recollint i deixant gent per les diferents platges de la costa. Només es pot accedir a elles per mar o caminant però no amb vehicles per terra. A la tarda ens n'anem a Dunedin per fer el recorregut que fa el tren " Taieri Gorge. És un tren antiquíssim que va per unes vies també antiquíssimes. Ara ja només s'usa en l'àmbit turístic.
