Nan is 2 years old, Cassia is her 4 month old doeling. Currently I'm milking Nan in the mornings and letting Cassia have the rest. Thursday, July 24, 2014. A couple of weeks ago we did some corn planting in. The field and so far this is the progress, I thought it would be nice to document it and take some pictures of it growing. The rains were a few days ahead of us when the corn seeds were planted, they waited patiently for precious water. They then became more constant and the little seedlings finally had enough energy to come out. A few weeds have started to grow in between the rows, but they don't seem to cause much of a problem.

Sunday, June 28, 2015. A Cottontail rescue that ended in tragedy . Nearly a month ago, my father rescued two little cottontail rabbits from one of our dogs, I am guessing they were about 3 days old. We searched underneath the trees for a possible nest and didn't find anything so we assumed that probably these little guys were kidnapped by a crow or some other animal.
