APHASIA RESEARCH NEEDS YOUR HELP. You can help understand aphasia better by volunteering in our research. We are recruiting participants for our studies. Depending on the study, we recruit:. Persons who are neurologically healthy (do not have aphasia or any other neurological condition) in the age ranges of 18-30 years and over 45 years. The primary focus of Dr. Faroqi-Shah’s research is the production of language, specifically difficulties in language production arising from damage to the brain (a condition called aphasia.
