A Pinch of Spice

A Pinch of Spice. Monday, April 14, 2008. Mutton Rezzala for RCI Bengal. Once again this is one of Choto Pishi's recipes. I must admit I used half the oil she had suggested, it turned out very well nevertheless. I can only imagine how much better it would be if I had put in as much oil as suggested! Some other traditional Bengali dishes are here:. Fish curry with green chillies and Kalonji. Bhapa Ilish or Steamed Hilsa. Posted by SJ at 8:41 PM. Saturday, August 11, 2007. Weeknight Dinner - Egg Roll.

A Pinch of Spice: Weeknight Dinner - Egg Roll

http://apinchofspice.blogspot.com/2007/08/egg-roll.html

A Pinch of Spice. Saturday, August 11, 2007. Weeknight Dinner - Egg Roll. Usually whenever I am at a loss of what to make and want something I quick, I fall back on the versatile Egg Roll. Both my daughter and husband love eggs so it doesn't really matter what I put inside the roll, they are happy. 4 Flour Tortillas (ideally rotis or home made parathas, but I am not fast enough to pull that off in less than 30 min and I really want to send this for Mallugirl's Summer Express Cooking. Eggs (1 per roll).

A Pinch of Spice: March 2007

http://apinchofspice.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

A Pinch of Spice. Monday, March 26, 2007. When I first found out about the AFAM event, I knew at once which fruit I was waiting for. That's right pineapple, so I could make the pineapple upside down cake! I had bookmarked the original recipe. From the Betty Crocker Webpage and finally got round to making it! Without much ado, here is the recipe. 1/4cup butter or margarine. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar. 1 can (8 oz) pineapple slices, drained, cut in half. 1/3 cup chopped pecans. 15 cups Original Bisquick mix.

A Pinch of Spice: January 2007

http://apinchofspice.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

A Pinch of Spice. Monday, January 29, 2007. When I heard that the next JFI ingredient selected by Rosie. Was ginger, I was thrilled, this one would be a breeze. I use ginger in most of my cooking. Be it daal, chole, rajma, chicken, mutton and most types of fish it is easier for me list out the few dishes I make that do not use ginger! And I have made some modifications to suit the ingredients I had at hand. 2 cups granulated sugar. 1 cup vegetable oil. 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix). Pour in...

Good food. Hidden gems. Great deals. Hot, Buttered and Toasted. A new FarmCoast restaurant I am dying to try. I walked by the new Padanaram Village eatery this weekend and was greatly impressed with the high-end do-over with a flagstone patio, planters full of herbs and a swanky clean interior. Check out my recent story about Little Moss. The former site of the popular beach Plum Cafe in idyllic S. Dartmouth:. DARTMOUTH Padanaram Village has a cool new hot spot. Good food. Hidden gems. Great deals. Hot, Buttered and Toasted. Hidden gem charms with exquisite Italian food, service. When I entered Cafe Italia. In New Bedford’s South End, I really felt I entered a popular Boston North End haunt. The entire experience was exquisite — from the charming waiter to the most delicate littlenecks I’ve ever tasted — and that’s saying something on SouthCoast. Good food. Hidden gems. Great deals. Hot, Buttered and Toasted. A great dinner at a new restaurant in Marion. Just-right ribs, a unique soup, a yummy white pizza and a really lovely, warm, setting made dinner at Brew Fish in Marion. A wonderful experience. Here’s my Dine Out review. In Coastin’ for more:. Odd as it sounds, the broth was flavorful and the kale leaves large and tasty. It was somewhat like a Rhode Island chowder but yellow in color and much better. Good food. Hidden gems. Great deals. Hot, Buttered and Toasted. Eat good food, build a Fishermen’s Museum. If you believe in preservation and can shell out $100. Here’s a great cause and what looks like it’s going to be a good dinner. Taste of the Port, coming up April 24, is co-hosted by the New Bedford Port Society. Proceeds will benefit the Port Society Complex to restore, preserve, and make accessible the Seamen’s Bethel and the Mariners’ Home and to create New Bedford’s first Fishermen’s Museum.

A Pinch of Something Good

A Pinch of Something Good. A pinch of this and a pinch of that from a late-bloomer homemaker! Monday, January 28, 2013. Repurpose a hanging jewelry organizer. I re-watched Clean Freaks on HGTV. And saw this great idea from Alejandra @ Alejandra.tv. And implemented it today. I too love to give gifts, and this hanging jewelry organizer is perfect for my gift tags and gift enclosure envelopes. No more digging through the drawer searching. Nice, neat, divided, and most important, visible! Links to this post.

The organic life. As documented by a green-thumb and kitchen whiz. Green Smoothies May 2011 09 May 2011. In the last 6 months, my husband and myself have been having a deeelicious green smoothie every morning for brekkie. I had been reading so much about them while researching on the internet, so thought I'd give em a go! You're supposed to have a ratio of 60% fruit and 40% greens. It took me awhile to get the right balance,of fruitiness to greenness! Quince 03 May 2011. Roast Vegies May 2011 03 May 2011.
