Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Mon 31st, day 55 and Tues 1st April, day 56. As the name indicate, Los Andes is already in the Andes Mountains. We rode over 500 kms in about 9 hours. Its unbelievable to think that we rode 240 kilometers to cross one mountain and then some more to get out of the foothills. Our overnight stop was in a real one horse dirty town thats seen much better days many moons ago. This was more of a Chili reception than I expected so I booked my ticket home on April 7th to the land of opportunity where my qualifications would probably make me the SA National Bullshit artist. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Monday 24th, day 48, Tues 25th, day 49 and Wed 26th, day 50. This was clearly a camping area but no sign of human life.
