The continuing adventures of three amazing boys. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Travis Makes a Surprise Visit. Travis (Brian's youngest brother) was passing through Boise a few weeks ago, so we decided to surprise the boys. Here's the video:. Christopher missed his Uncle Travis so much that his first reaction was to cry. The fact that he hadn't slept well the night before probably helped too. But he was smiling soon enough:. Goofing around. Look at that smile on John's face. :). May 30, 2012 at 8:22 PM. A brea...

Cook Zoo: Girly Screams of Terror
http://cookzoo.blogspot.com/2008/05/girly-screams-of-terror.html
The continuing adventures of three amazing boys. Thursday, May 8, 2008. Girly Screams of Terror. Well, since we are without a digital camera (for now) I'm hard-pressed to come up with new blog entries. So I'm stealing one from my blog on the weight-loss site I'm on. I look at the top of the door frame and find my answer. It's a momma wasp. And she's building a nest. Well, that's just not going to fly. So I go running to the door, more girly screams of terror start echoing through the house (this time fro...

Cook Zoo: My Camera's Here!!!!
http://cookzoo.blogspot.com/2008/05/my-cameras-here.html
The continuing adventures of three amazing boys. Friday, May 23, 2008. Brian would say OUR camera's here, but why trifle with words? Anyway, I love this thing! Check it out. I can take a picture of any ridiculous thing I want and have it up in seconds. For example,. The door jam where Brian marks off how much the kids have grown. A picture of Ben in front of said door jam, because he was saying "Take a picture of me too! Like that commercial says, if I can do this, then WHY don't we have flying cars yet?

Cook Zoo: Mother's Day
http://cookzoo.blogspot.com/2008/05/mothers-day.html
The continuing adventures of three amazing boys. Sunday, May 11, 2008. Then there's the other element of Mother's Day which goes beyond all that lovely surface stuff: self-evaluation. How am I doing as a mother? How are my children doing? Are their needs being met? What can I do to do better? In the end, will it be enough? Just how much counseling are my children going to need? I, too, wish I could put things on pause and get myself together. I know these times will fly by. May 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM.

The continuing adventures of three amazing boys. Sunday, June 29, 2008. We've all been in an excited state of shock ever since. They live in San Diego and drove out to meet us yesterday. When they finally got here, Mom went out to meet her brother and would not let go of him for the longest time. We finally convinced her to let the poor guy come in out of the heat (and snuck in hugs of our own! But she wouldn't let go of him inside either. :). My sister Wendy and her husband Louie. This is Mom and Michae...
