Doggy Daycare & More Comes to the East Coast | WTF Mate
https://katemate.wordpress.com/2014/10/20/doggy-daycare-more-comes-to-the-east-coast
A blog by an American expat in Singapore, via Australia. Doggy Daycare and More Comes to the East Coast. Asymp; 2 Comments. Photo courtesy of Wagging Rights. I generally find that I get lots of reader feedback pertaining to two areas: 1) People asking for contact information for our real estate agent extraordinaire, Grace. And 2) People asking about doggy daycare on the East Coast. When we adopted Avon in 2012. And I’m happy to report that it’s a beautiful facility. Upon entry I immediately noticed the c...

The Good Year: March 2011
http://the-good-year.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 18, 2011. It's been a fun ride. I've seen well over 1000 miles of road. I've dropped 14 pounds. I've taken more pills than I thought I could stomach (don't worry, doc's prescription and natural supplements only! I've kept track of more details on life than my mind can handle. And I've collected more bikes than I can ever afford (anyone in the market for a 56cm Roubaix? Dare I say it? Welcome to The Good Year: Chapter 5. Posted by Dylan Steele. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Go west old man,.

The Good Year: June 2011
http://the-good-year.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Let me shake this jetlag out of the system and then we'll get back to it. In the meantime, a little taste of the other side of the world. Monks in Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City seems to not be so forbidden to a million tourists. Totally worth the hike up. Dancing at the Dragon Boat Festival. CCTV Building. So much bigger than I pictured. Hot Pot is completely worth it, even with my bad stomach. I speak no Madarin. The cards were appreciated. BEST BOATHOUSE. PERIOD. The wild thi...

The Good Year: December 2010
http://the-good-year.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 17, 2010. About to begin re-entry. I've heard that as you pass through the upper layers of the atmosphere it's impossible to transmit and most electronics stop worki. Posted by Dylan Steele. Wednesday, December 15, 2010. This past summer I was given some unexpected advice from respected executive. He shared with me the secret to chalking up the big W after it's all said and done. His formula is simple: "He who has the best stories at the end, wins.". Welcome to The Good Year. It's finall...

McArabia: ...but you can call me Raymond Braindo
http://mcarabia-brandon.blogspot.com/2010/11/day-in-cairo-was-much-same-as-first.html
Saturday, November 20, 2010. But you can call me Raymond Braindo. The second day in Cairo was much the same as the first. Hop in Emad's car at 9AM (this was clearly early for him given that he didn't utter a sentence to us before 11AM other than, "where to? And head out for a day of sights. The Egypt museum, for all its shortcomings (or maybe because of? And the more intricate the hieroglyphic, the more smudged and worn down it is because who doesn't like to touch the most interesting thing? It's actuall...

McArabia: Random Reinforcement
http://mcarabia-brandon.blogspot.com/2010/12/random-reinforcement.html
Saturday, December 11, 2010. I know, I'm bad at staying current on my blog, but if I predictably put up an entry every Saturday night, you wouldn't be motivated to drive up my hit-count all week long, now would you? Random reinforcement, I'm hoping, works not just in dogs but also in blog readers. I didn't take this picture, but in my mind's eye this is what Kuwait City should have looked like upon arrival. You know, all green and smokey and with a lot of sirens going off. Somebody at Emirates must have ...

McArabia: The Poor Man's Maldives
http://mcarabia-brandon.blogspot.com/2011/01/poor-mans-maldives.html
Saturday, January 1, 2011. The Poor Man's Maldives. Fittingly for a year that saw so much change, the past few weeks of 2010 have been a whirlwind of activity. Briley Ray, my second niece, was born on December 21—CONGRATS TO THE HAPPY FAMILY. Work leading up to the holiday break was busy, but I went nose-to-the-grindstone knowing full well that the last week of 2010 would bring a welcome hiatus. One final trip to Kuwait City and the holiday was here! I now happily understand Jaclyn’s frequent and o...

McArabia: January 2011
http://mcarabia-brandon.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2011. It's been a busy, busy past couple of weeks, but when is it not? After working through a couple of weekends in there, I've emerged relatively unscathed for a breath of fresh air and a blog update on a work night.gasp! We had to go to H&M for hats and gloves before our little outing- since we don't own any living in a desert. That barrier officially marks the Iraq border- you can see the Iraq flag flying in the Safwan truck parking area just in the distance. This is the old bord...

McArabia: October 2010
http://mcarabia-brandon.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. What happened to October anyway? Remember how there was all that sabre-rattling recently about Blackberries getting outlawed in Dubai? One of the Skeikhs bought up a bunch of Blackberry servers and put them in his maids' room. At any rate, the selling velocity of the BB's went up four-fold on October 12, the day after the announcement. The grand opening was canceled for mourning. How will I ever find out now what the world's fastest rollercoaster is like? Friday, October 22, 2010.
