Post cards from home. Friday, November 30, 2012. Here is hubby with this year's crop of our football players. Mean looking aren't they? No, just freezing cold. The one day we could all get together for pictures it was cold and rainy,. But that's football season in the PNW. They are: #31 grandson T (12yrs), #33 my baby Jed (14yrs), #9 grandson D (8yrs),. And the locally famous #39 senior running back Jake (17yrs). As you can see we have quite a few years left to cheer on our boys. Links to this post.

Post cards from home. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. 31 days postcards FAIL. I'm not sure why I made the commitment to myself to post 31 days, I guess when I did my life wasn't so hectic or at least I thought things would settle down in October. Wrong! It was even busier than I expected. Guess I forgot what 2 teenagers, two schools in different directions, one car and football can do to life. Links to this post. Anyone that knows me, know that I am addicted to marshmallows, especially STALE marshmallows. I never get that rare treat cause they never last long enough to get that wonderful crunchy texture. (I know I'm weird, so don't mention it). This recipe says it makes 96 1-inch cubes. I like the giant ones, can anyone do the math? How many 2-inch cubes will I get from this recipe? Springy, Fluffy Marshmallows. Adapted from Gourmet, December 1998. Between two graham crackers. With a square of chocolate. In a 3-q...

Finally this year during the holidays, I figured what the heck, I hadn't worn it in so long that if I totally messed it up I wouldn't miss it and could always make a pillow out of it. Well here it is, my remade asymmetrical cardigan. Sorry about the photos, it looks much better on but I stink at taking self portraits. So how did I do it? Really simple once I got started. 2 pulled out the pins and sewed a line down each side of the chalk line. held my breath and cut on the chalk line.
