The Dahl Family: Prom 2013
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2013/04/prom-2013.html
Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Somehow the computer is letting me post pictures again. Hooray! I'll probably try to go back and do a little catch up, but I think I'll start with current happenings and go forward for now. Here is Bryce with his very good friend, Tori, back at our house for prom dinner. First course: Cheese fondue with bread, apples, pears and broccoli for dipping. Intermezzo: Lemon sorbet to cleanse the pallet. Dessert: Chocolate mousse with whipped cream and raspberries. The theme for prom was...

The Dahl Family: Bryce's Mission Call
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2014/05/bryces-mission-call.html
Thursday, May 15, 2014. In doing a little catch up blogging, I wanted to record Bryce's mission call. We were in Utah when Bryce's "white envelope" arrived from Salt Lake. It sat at our house for three days while we were in Utah for General Conference. We flew home on Sunday and upon pulling into the garage at home, we all jumped out of the car and headed inside for "the opening". When I saw this picture, I thought - "the field is white all ready to harvest". Bryce will be speaking in Sacrament Meeting o...

The Dahl Family: May 2012
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 31, 2012. On the day Adam turned 12, his scout troop set off on a 3-day backpack trip in Aravaipa Canyon in eastern Arizona. That morning Edwin Lamoreaux, scoutmaster extraordinaire, presented Adam with a troop shirt with the slogan "Get A Grip". Adam is so lucky to have Brother Lamoreaux as his scout leader! Doesn't this picture just make your mouth water? After dinner it was time for the fireside - without the fire due to fire restrictions. Starting in the back left: Dan, Eduardo Rojas, S...

The Dahl Family: April 2012
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 23, 2012. On January 12th, Edie was born. I blogged about her birth back in January, but I only included a few pictures. Here are a few more to document the wonderful occasion. Proud Grandpa Dahl with his new granddaughter. Lindsay, the new mom, and her beautiful daughter. What a beautiful little girl - but we're not prejudiced! One cat wanted attention - and the other hid from us. This is Edie's nursery. Isn't it beautiful? And baby makes three! See all the smiles on these faces? We pointe...

The Dahl Family: August 2012
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 10, 2012. Bryce's day started with a trip to Arlington cemetery. This spot is where President Kennedy is buried along with several family members. That is the eternal flame to the right. This is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The band had made arrangements to lay a wreath at the tomb. The precision of the marching of the guards was very impressive to the band. A great shot of the White House. The band also went to the Lincoln Memorial. Kermit the Frog. I still love the Muppets. This was ...

The Dahl Family: July Random Shots
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2012/10/july-random-shots.html
Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Here are some pictures that didn't really fit in anywhere, but we didn't want to forget. Upon arrive home from Seattle, Adam constructed his Lego White House model. Dan was stuck in the hospital on a beautiful day, so he took a picture of a storm over the Superstitions. Bryce with his friend Tori at band camp. Adam after having three teeth removed at the dentist in preparation for braces. Not a happy camper. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Dahl Family: September 2012
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. More Sightseeing in D.C. When we are on a vacation or trip, Dan likes to get up early in the morning and take a walk. He often takes lots of pictures and scouts out things to go see that are not in the guidebook. Here is the headquarters of our favorite radio station. The lighting in the morning is just right for some beautiful shots. Dan found the White House visitors center was open very early. He stopped in and bought Adam a souvenir. We headed down to an early breakfast so...

The Dahl Family: Bryce is Graduating
http://4dahlsathome.blogspot.com/2014/05/bryce-is-graduating.html
Thursday, May 15, 2014. View the entire collection. This is only the front side of Bryce's graduation announcement, but I thought I would try posting it. Yes, he is graduating. It seems he just entered Gilbert High School yesterday! Time flies. The back side of the announcement has a mission picture and the information about Bryce's mission call. I will post that separately. The photos are all really great. You guys will miss him, but you will enjoy all the missionary stories and blessings.
