Larr; Paper dragon tutorial and template. Distilling love part two. February 14th, 2011 · No Comments. As I was writing the simple guide to festival planning. I thought ahead to Valentine’s Day and what I wanted to get out of it. Most years I think of Valentine’s Day as being inconsequential or forgettable. The commercialism surrounding the day doesn’t interest me, and the history. Behind St. Valentine and his annual commemoration is a bit too heavy for our young family. Over at Are So Happy. Putting ext...

It adds a sweet sense of nostalgia that I love in a room. And as a bonus, if we have a long power outage (have you read Alas Babylon. I just might be able to use it.it seems to be in working order! Love the detail on the drawers. Queen Esther (one of my heroes) and Sarah's Easter dress. From a couple of years ago.

Sunday, April 21, 2013. Just a little hello from Little Sister and her yogurt face. And her double chin. Where we tend to park our lips for the best kind of warm, smushy kisses. We are all head over heels! These photos have been sitting patiently in my iPhoto library, along with many others, unshared and wasted! They were taken about a month ago. Isn't she getting big? Also, we are praying for the many people affected by tragedy this past week. Wow. So much heartache for so many! Friday, April 5, 2013.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Somebody's teething. Or getting her teefees,. As I say. And of course there have to be pictures. Lots of them. Because this has never happened in our house before. ;) Really, you would think new teeth were a monumental first for all of us, the way we go on about them. Every single member of this family is gawking over the new little white additions to this adorable smile. Then rolled his eyes and giggled at the ridiculousness. (My baby terminology is catching, you see.). Then we ...
