A Taste of Scandinavia. Life and living in Sweden. This post is a bit late, but I didn’t want to forget to write about the beautiful apple trees (äppleträd) of Skellefteå. Nearly every house here has an old apple tree in the yard and as soon as the cooler weather starts to arrive the trees are absolutely bursting with the most beautiful apples I have ever seen! Many of the gardens had wheelbarrows underneath the trees that were overflowing with apples, while still having their branches full of more fruit!
