The first early start of the trip was needed for our trip to the Whitsundays – a series of 74 islands off the coast of Airlie Beach. We woke up at 0530 for a 0710 pick-up. We boarded a lilac-coloured (it certainly woke me up) Catamaran called the Camira and set off with 54 others. Possibly the quote of the trip came from a Frenchman waiting to board the board….
