I torsdags planterades de första växterna i årets omgång i Maupuia reserve i samarbete Miramar track project. Entreen till reservet planterades med ca 180 plantor, de mesta av pionjär arter som klara leriga och blöta förhållanden som Träskflax. Dels för att stora plantor med breda blad kommer fungera so. Två skolor var inbjudna, men pga av vind och en del regns.

Trots ett uppehåll från bloggandet sedan i augusti, då under min Sverige vistelse så har inte funderingarna om kommande projekt varit stilla. Tvärtom. Många tankar, funderingar, ideer, förslag att ha i åtanke. I januari åker vi tillbaka till Nya Zeeland och Miramar halvön. Under halvåret som passerat på svensk mark så har det ekologiska restaurerings projektet.
