Well, after 2 weeks without internet, our modem has been replaced and we are back in the game! I am desperately trying to get caught up on here, and can't quite do that until I get finished with our beach trip. This post is of days 3 and 4. More fun in the pool. Emerson loves the beach! I don't know what they were saying to each other here, but I don't think it was nice!

The week before school started, we had open house at the school to meet the kids' teachers. I can't believe it is time to have 2 kids in elementary school. They both have wonderful teachers and we are super excited about this year! Taking in their school supplies. Sitting at his desk. Davis and his amazing Kindergarten teacher! How is my baby this big? We have taken our sweet time moving Emerson out of his crib and into a big boy bed. He loves his crib, and has always been such a great sleeper (since he turned 1), that I didn't want to mess with success! I had no idea how he would do. I more than that, I cannot believe that I have a kindergartner and a 3rd grader! These pictures are from the first day of school. It was a fun (and emotional) morning. I was anxious all day for them to get home to hear all about their day. First day of school is always so exciting! Waiting for the bus.

Here are some pictures from our first few days at home. Gamma giving Brooks his first bottle because had lost too much weight. Big brothers helping too! Gamma giving Brooks his first bath at home. Brooks in the cradle that Grandad Ryan made in 1993 when the first grandchild was born. So far, all 8 grandkids have used it. Another great tradition!
