An Eartly start this morning to get the bus to iona. The ticket cost 9. Plus the ferry fare, we ended up travelling with a bunch of American kids, i think it must have been a chool trip or something turns out they're stayng at the Iona hostel (I'm blaming the fact it was fully booked on them). It would have been an incredible slog to cycle up to Iona.

Today we had a cycle to the island of Oronsay to see the priory and the cross. The folder of local information at the hostel describes Collonsay as "Fairly flat" so perfect for cycling. Another long cycle ride today. We woke up to Sanna Bay bathed in sunlight, a typical tropical beach, only the temperature of the water was a clue to its lattitude. Today we passed the 100 mile mark! Tonight we're camping in the grounds of the Port Charlotte Youth Hostel which is really luxurious, we get to use the showers the kitchen, common room, and drying room which is a really good job because our clothes were soaked by the time we arrived here.
