Lost in Pflugerville: Funny old day
http://jacquiboyd-alden.blogspot.com/2008/03/funny-old-day.html
The ongoing life of someone looking for something but not knowing what it is exactly. Wednesday, March 19, 2008. As it seems I have managed to inadvertently offend 2 people. I am not going to write about how but one person in particular, managed to jar me so much that I realise that maybe knowing something is maybe too much information. Why do I say that? I agree re the lack of privacy. I don't like DNA profiling etc etc too much like George Orwell's. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). See me on Facebook.

She's back, the one and only Stanzi, aka Shming Shmong, Winzip, Zoony etc, etc! Firstly, here is her classic "Spooky Eyes" pose, complete with equally spooky claw marks on the banister rails. I love gadgets and I especially love getting to grips with a new one and exploring what it can do. Our new Artistic Wire Coiling Gizmo is no exception. I take my hat off to the inventor, LeRoy Goertz, for creating something so simple and so easy to use that makes short work of what can otherwise be an arduous task, making wire coils. It certainly...

Writing Improv by Marta Szabo. Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Links to this post. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Maybe it’s Norm, I thought. This Saturday morning I was pulling out of the driveway and I saw Norm with a small white dog at the end of a retractable leash making his way through his yard. He walked with a cane, awkward and bent over though he is not elderly. I stopped the car, got out and approached him. 8220;I’m Marta,” I answered, “I live next door,” and I pointed. 8220;Oh, yes, yes! 8220;You lost it?

An artist who dabbles in lots of different things. July 12, 2014. After the last post, I had a terrible session at the AVAA where I ended up doing an almost cartoon life drawing of the model. I finished the session early, feeling defeated and broken. The above drawing is from this week. Again I struggled. This was the 3rd and most successful drawing. Below is the worse. This was my first drawing, at least the feet look like they stuck to the ground! I intend to go back as it is a great location. This is ...

An artist who dabbles in lots of different things. Almost back to square one. February 19, 2015. Anyway, I have a work that I am reasonably happy with as it was based on a still life set up and I was able to move away from that, to create another image which is the way I want to go. Here is the set up:. The tea set belongs to my grand-daughter and like me as a child, she loves to make tea for her Mummy and Nanna. Finished Painting – 30cm X 36cm acrylic on Rice paper coated with acrylic gesso. Mi teintes ...
