Sunday, June 27, 2010. Evolution of a Painting. Desiderata, 50x40x1.5 inches, Mixed Media. After first stretching the canvas, I painted it black. I then created quadrangles in the upper left and lower right corners - the one in the lower right is still somewhat visible.
