Archive for March, 2011. After a year of fertility treatments, we’re excited to share that today’s ultrasound revealed a healthy baby. Archive for August, 2010. Well, after a blood draw I had yesterday to check my estrogen levels, things continue to go as planned. It’s actually a little weird how smoothly things are going, considering how rocky my IVF cycle was. As long as things continue on as they have been, we’re still on track for a September 10 transfer. Archive for September, 2010. Well, after 7 long months, we can finally say that this fertility journey has paid off. We are pregnant! Today at around 1:30 pm we found out the results of my pregnancy test, and we were elated. We still don’t know how many babies God’s blessed us with, but we hope to find out soon. August 16, 2013 at 2:27 pm. I am getting another blood test tomorrow. If my HCG level doubles, then everyone will feel a bit better about things, because that’s that factor that is most important at this point… doubling my HCG every 48 hrs or so. If my HCG goes down, it is an indication that this isn’t a viable pregnancy, and we’ll stop all of my meds. So, I have a very specific prayer request: please pray that my HCG level doubles! Good news- my HCG level went up! It multiplied by 2.75, which is really good. So now we wait until we get a look at this baby or babies in a few weeks at an 8 week ultrasound. God is good!
