SchellaStarShine: Teddy aka Theodore, Ted, "T"
http://schellastudio.blogspot.com/2009/07/teddy.html
Sunday, July 26, 2009. Teddy aka Theodore, Ted, "T". This is Teddy. Teddy is an incredible dog. He's a thirteen years old Welsh Corgi, and has a condition called Megaesophagus. As a result of this condition, he has to eat and drink in an upright position, and I found that the easiest way to make him do this was to buy a trash can and stick him in it. (with pillows under and around him, of course! And even launches himself out of the bucket. If he's feeling REALLY. The bucket is just brown. Subscribe to: ...

I had to have a deadline.I'll be using it in the floor design for our bedroom. I promptly sprayed the design onto some ez cut stencil material so I can cut out another version that will be double the original. (shown on the right hand side). This photo shows how the design looks when sprayed on paper!

SchellaStarShine: Play Date
http://schellastudio.blogspot.com/2009/07/play-date.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. I had a play date with my little niece last week and we had so much fun! I had been telling her about all the creative things we had been doing in my stencil class. And she was dying to try them out herself. We made a beautiful mess with fabric spray inks, stencils, Mod Podge, glitter glue, stickers, magazine cutouts. Look how focused she is! Some of her artwork. Posted by Michelle Lopez. August 3, 2009 at 4:37 PM. You two had fun! August 3, 2009 at 8:31 PM. Creative Every Day 2009.

Faux Haux: February 2012
http://fauxhaux.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 1, 2012. A Tuscan Dream in Mississippi. You may have already seen this blog by Cote De Texas last week. We had the incredible opportunity to work on a few custom made pieces. In this home. It was the first job I ever did using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The designer was adamant about the look she wanted. When I showed her the ASCP color chart I had brought back from Europe it was a resounding. YES that is it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Southern Institute of Faux.

A Night on the Tiles: Ouch!!
http://terrecuite.blogspot.com/2009/03/ouch.html
A Night on the Tiles. I work in a tile making factory. Roof Tiles. In France. Are all factory labourers crazy? Or just the French? Friday, March 20, 2009. Here is today's lesson:. When using a chainsaw, always use two hands to hold the chainsaw, and wear gloves. I should be relieved I didn't cut my bloody hand off. Quel con! Suddenly the chain bit into the junction between twig and branch and pulled the branch (and my hand) into the chain. Lots of thick dark blood pouring out of it convinced me that it w...

This is the name given to a local peacock that's been around a certain neighborhood after three of them have gotten lost. Virginia Creeper against Grey wall. This picture reminds me what the Crown of Thorns plant means. The rain drop just adds to the mystery of this plant. Some of my favorite blogs. A Painting a Day. Faux Painting and Faux Finish Today.

Joyce Hutchinson * Fine and Decorative Artist. Friday, May 25, 2007. Since I posted last, I have finished the mural I spoke of below. I'll just show the finished views. Tinting the mural with green only on the parts that had plant life on it really made the mural stand out. I think I'll use my tripod and see if I can't get a good enough shot of this one to make prints available for sale. Not sure yet, still thinking about it. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
