Art Alchemy Studio: Dry Spells
http://mai-liispeacocknotes.blogspot.com/2014/05/dry-spells.html
Mixed Media Art by Chaska Peacock. Monday, May 12, 2014. For me, this is a perfect illustration of how I feel when I am experiencing artistic dry spells. Picasso referred to these as "sterility", periods when you find yourself running on empty. It's easy to get impatient, but chances are that we have simply shifted from one kind of creativity to another. (In my case, it has been studying animal communication and working with my own dog, Quincy.).

Mixed Media Art by Chaska Peacock. Thursday, May 09, 2013. This is Agatha Aqua who made her debut at the Bunkhouse Gallery Show. She did not go to a new home but other dolls did. Several Spirit Boxes also went to new homes! Unfortunately, I was not present at the time and so know nothing about their new owners.

Art Alchemy Studio: Hung Up on Boxes
http://mai-liispeacocknotes.blogspot.com/2013/10/hung-up-on-boxes.html
Mixed Media Art by Chaska Peacock. Thursday, October 17, 2013. Hung Up on Boxes. You might say that I'm hung up on boxes. Cigar boxes, wood boxes, metal boxes, cardboard boxes.I turn them into shrines, feng shui altars, mini theaters, and sometimes- -a box can be utilitarian and yet special. A surrender box is a tool to let go of our burdens so the universe can take care of them for us. This is a beautiful page, Chaska. Your work is perfect and helps others to heal in many ways.

http://mai-liispeacocknotes.blogspot.com/2012/11/an-ornament-tutorial.html
Mixed Media Art by Chaska Peacock. Thursday, November 15, 2012. You can make this! Spray the finished work with a couple of coats of polyurethane. Almost all the "makings" were purchased from Silver Crow Creations, my favorite online purveyor of interesting, fun dodads! What a gorgeous ornament! Thanks, Chaska, for making the beautiful ornament out of things from SilverCrow (http:/ www.silvercrowcreations.com). You are such a talented artist. This is just stunning.
